Man. Maybe the end part is true for others but Prey has so many more memorable things for me than both Bioshock and System Shock (which is saying a lot btw). Mimics alone are absolutely iconic. GLOO gun. THE INTRO. Meeting a certain someone in the crew quarters. The "chef". October, December, January bit. Etc. Dang. Arkane Austin will be missed.

I agree that stupid hat that Nev, the Investigator is wearing is corny and it will be the first thing I remove at the first chance I get. The dwarf is Varric Tethras, he's been in all the Dragon Ages. He is the one who shot the bandit who bumped into your character to rob them in DA2 and He was the one that you first meet that Cassandra was interviewing in DAInquisition.

To anyone else who cant stand Yahtzee and his annoyingly unfunny jokes, here's a quick rundown. The game is very clever with its mechanics and lives up to the true detective experience you'd expect from watching the trailers and looking at the screenshots on the store page. It's very buggy, although you'll still find a lot of enjoyment from the game if you're willing to put up with bugs that can potentially bug out key evidence or simply make you fall endlessly from an elevator floor as if you suddenly became a ghost. Saved you 5 and a half minutes of listening to some coked out brit who spends his free time in bed with his head between his own legs.

The worst part is that it’s a linear game pretending to be open world. There’s little, if any actual chances for you to tackle things in your own order. And if you do, typically you end up making easier parts way too easy to chug through when you circle back to them. It’s only open world by its most basic definition. They had no idea what to actually do with an “open world” and it shows.

It's like a less functional version of Palworld.

The worst thing I think is that these games show how lazy Game Freak is with Pokémon these days. With outdated game design and stale formula. And low res graphics to boot.

this game’s story has a plot twist that i kinda need to spoil here because it’s actually really funny: so y’know the main character, jack? you wanna know his full name? you really wanna know? jack garland. yeah, like THAT garland. the “first main villain of the whole franchise and also chaos” garland. fucking insane

Both games suck and look terrible. I still play them and have fun all the while wishing they port omega ruby or sapphire over. I miss my mega evolution. They should at least have ported ultra moon and sun.

Loved playing this game, I bought it a couple weeks ago on sale cause I thought the games art style looked cooI, actually enjoyed the story in the game and certain moments had me absolutely shocked, the game was an amazing experience and I’m 100% going to play it again in the near future

After losing a Switch and all my Pokémon I replayed Shield first and gotta say I had way more fun than replaying Violet.

This is part of my main dislike of the game in it not being exciting finding new towns and areas cus they're boring and theres nothing to do. Theres like no buildings to go in for example and no fun little things to do like a casino or something.

Doesn't even look like Dragon Age, looks like a totally different game, this looks so corporately sanitized and even the art style looks extremely League of Legends, the soul of Dragon Age is the decisions, the meaningful dialogue and story, this just looks like a total different game, all sparkly and cartoony when Dragon Age is dark fantasy themed that feels grounded, real and meaningful, honestly man the fans have waited for this for 10 years and this is what you give, looks like something out of Raid Shadow Legends man

I mostly blame publishers for following the wrong trends when it comes to their pursuits. Nintendo and a FEW others stand out because they didn’t chase the hyper realism bs. Maybe back in the 90s and early 2000s graphics were king but now it’s killing the industry. It doesn’t have to look super realistic and the Indie scene is where I buy most of my games now. Also we don’t need super long 80+ hour games. It’s too much and I’m sure it contributes heavily to rising costs. 40 hours is good, plus fun unlockables that give it replay value. I drop so many games because they become stale at the 40-50 hour mark.

This game sucks

It was such an incredible concept that just didn't quite amount to anything special in the end. As you're going through it, it really feels like all these interesting worlds are going to be tied together thematically somehow and that there's gonna be some interesting commentary on the nature of creation/storytelling. Then it just rushes to an unsatisfying ending that literalizes everything in the most boring way and makes everything feel like unimportant window dressing.

Im sorry but this guy is 100% right, come back in 2 years and watch this, im sure salty comments will evaporate with time, its all due to xdefiant player coping.

Yeah I'm sorry but this games story falls apart in about 2 seconds expect me to believe that an average Joe from New York would just get transported to a fantasy world and not die in approximately 5 seconds. Need a remind you that we live in a day and age where if you take somebody's cell phone or shut off their internet they basically die.

As of this writing, there is still no legal way to acquire SH 1, 2 and 3 other than buying the disc on Ebay along with a working PS2/PS3 circa 2006. SH 4 is on GOG but the control mapping is wonky and trying to get it to work with a controller was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had as a gamer. Fuck Konami.
